LT Consultants Ltd. is an international Finnish company which specialises in transport and environmental planning, infrastructure design and related research, development and project management services.

Today LT Consultants Ltd. and its regional offices employ 121 experts (4/99). The turnover of LT Consultants 1996 was 8.5 millions USD. The share of foreign projects of the turnover is about 40 percent. The turnover of the whole LT-Group was 13,4 millions USD 1996. In addition to the Baltic Sea region, the primary areas of foreign projects include Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Moreover, different research and development studies financed by the European Union constitute a significant share of the turnover of the export.

LT Consultants Ltd. is a member of the Finnish Association Consulting Firms (SKOL). SKOL is a member of the world-wide consultant organisation FIDIC (Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs-Conseils). LT Consultants Ltd. has been awarded SFS-EN ISO 9001 quality certificate and SFS-EN ISO 14001 environmental management certificate, covering consulting, research, planning, design and project management services in the fields of transport, environment, infrastructure and urban development.

is a program that is developed for calculating and updating the estimated cost of road projects.

MEPLAN
is a computer software package for analysing and evaluating land-use and transport policies.

SATURN
is a combined simulation and assignment model for the analysis of traffic management schemes over relatively localised networks, where evaluation requires a detailed analysis of the traffic behaviour at junctions.

EMME2 is a transport planning model for analysing public transport systems and automobile networks, including a developed macro language which allows the creation of special applications for e.g. impact analyses.

Mapnoise
is a program for calculating noise zones of the road and railway traffic and it can be used for both studies and design.
