Infrastructure construction projects are the most visible sign of the policy response aimed to improve the existing situation of the transport system. There are, however, often more fundamental changes taking place on an institutional level (legislative and organisational changes, for example). In addition, the research grounds the forthcoming policy response.

This section focuses on infrastructure and research. The section is divided in two categories:

  • Infrastructure: Ongoing or planned major infrastructure construction projects in the Corridor.

  • Research: ongoing transport related research projects and programmes.
